Another Sunday drive leads us to Two Oceans Lake trail. Wildflowers burst from the meadows as the Tetons rose from the backdrop. We've learned about a new orangish-red

flower called Indian Paintbrush. The blooms spring through the surrounding bluebells and yellow mountain flowers that remind us of black-eyed susans.
We looked for moose near the Lake's thickets. We saw plenty of tracks, but no animals, except for smaller snakes.
The 7-mile hike began beneath a gray sky. Tenacious mosquitoes kept us swatting for most of the way. But the clouds traveled on and the sun beat down as we finished.
